General Group Fitness Booking Information
Group Fitness class bookings are made through the member portal.
Member bookings open 46 hours in advance of the class starting time.
You can see the group fitness timetable up to two weeks in advance through the portal.
Casuals can book in person on the day of a class at reception, excluding Reformer Pilates.

Pilates by GEL
Pilates by GEL is a tailored reformer Pilates program with five specialised classes to suit all experience levels. We will have three spacious and comfortable studios across Caulfield Recreation Centre, Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool and GESAC with state-of-the-art reformer beds. Our qualified teachers guide participants through enjoyable and strengthening sessions. For more information about the programs, see our Pilates by GEL page.
No Show Policies
The following policy applies to members who use the group fitness programs across all Glen Eira Leisure facilities:
Cancellation
If you’re unable to attend your class, please cancel your booking at least two hours before the class starts. Most classes have waiting lists, so we would like to be able to give as much notice to others if a position in the class becomes available.
Online Booking Access
Within reason, if a member is consistently not attending a booked class (without cancelling), they may have their online booking access temporarily removed. Warnings and notice will be given before any action is taken.
If this happens, members are still able to book classes at reception and all existing bookings will remain.
Unexpected circumstances
We understand that sometimes you need to cancel out of class within two hours of it beginning.
In these cases, please call 9575 7100 and press 1 to let our membership team know.
