What is Badminton?

Badminton is played by using racquets to hit a shuttlecock back and forth over a tall net stretched across a court. It is commonly played in singles or doubles, with either one or two people to a side. The game is scored using a points system, which are earned when the opponent fails to return the shuttle. The first player or duo to reach 21 points is the game winner, with a best-of-three format used to determine the overall victor.
