Wellness area closure January 2023
The Wellness area at GESAC will be temporarily closed for essential maintenance works from Sunday 15 January and until Friday 27 January (re-opening on Saturday 28 January).
The Wellness area includes:
- Hydrotherapy pool
- Spa
- Saunas (including infrared saunas)
- Steam room
- Changeroom in Wellness area
All other aquatic facilities will be open in the indoor pool area, as well as the 50 metre outdoor pool. There will still be an assisted changeroom available downstairs.
We are working swiftly to complete these works to reduce the impact on our members and guests.
MEMBERS
If you would like to suspend your membership (free of charge) during the pool closure, please click here.
EVERY BODY ACTIVE CLIENTS
This will impact all clients who have hydrotherapy sessions. Your Every Body Active support officer will contact you to discuss your options during the closure.
STINGRAY SWIMMING LESSONS
As this area includes Stingray swimming lesson pool, membership accounts will be credited for the lessons impacted during this period. A complimentary alternative program will continue to run if you wish to attend your usual lesson time in the following pools:
-
Monday – Friday classes in the Learn to Swim pool
-
Saturday and Sunday classes in the middle of lane one in the 25m pool (Please note the water temperature in this pool is cooler than the Wellness pool)
The closure will only effect Stingray lessons, if you have students in higher levels their classes will run as usual.
We understand that this area is often an important part of your health and wellness routine, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during the closure. If the works are completed earlier than anticipated, we will let you know as soon as possible.
